About me
I am a psychologist and psychotraumatologist. I draw on the psychodynamic approach, focusing on understanding the mechanisms behind difficulties and their origins.
I work with adults and adolescents. I am particularly interested in difficulties related to depression, anxiety and emotional crises, as well as relationships, partnerships and questions about identity and direction in life. I want everyone who comes to see me to feel treated as an individual, without judgement or ready-made answers.
In my practice, I create a space where you can speak openly about what is difficult, even when you do not yet know how to put it into words. I believe that finding words for a problem can itself be the first step towards change.
I receive regular supervision for my work. For me, this is both a professional standard and an expression of responsibility towards the people who place their trust in me. I actively take part in training and conferences, continually developing my knowledge and psychological practice skills.
I work in accordance with the Polish Code of Professional Ethics for Psychologists, upholding confidentiality and respect for each client's dignity.

My approach
Psychodynamic approaches, ACT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
The most important changes happen when we try to understand what a symptom is telling us, rather than simply suppressing it.
The first appointment is primarily a conversation and an opportunity to get to know each other. It lasts around 50 minutes. You do not need to prepare or know where to begin; I will help by asking questions. Towards the end, we will consider the next steps together: whether further consultations, assessment, for example for ADHD, or another form of support may be appropriate. I will explain what our ongoing work could look like. Usually, the first one to three appointments are consultations. They give us both time to see whether we work well together. Everything we discuss is covered by professional confidentiality.
